Ben Gordon founded Clava in 2026 after studying law, to give UK firms legal AI they can use on client matters and run where their clients need it.

Ben is studying for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence. He leads Clava’s work on specialist legal models and on deploying AI inside law firms.
Why we build Clava in the UK.
Law firms should be able to use the best AI available without sending client documents abroad or losing track of what the AI did.
So we train our own specialist legal models in Inverness, keep everything in the UK and let each firm choose where Clava runs: on a server in its office, on its own servers or in a private cloud on Civo.
