Clava is a trading name of BGEV AI Consultancy Ltd, a legal AI company in Inverness, registered in Scotland with company number SC875426. Its registered office is 11 Castle Heather Crescent, Inverness, IV2 4BF. BGEV AI Consultancy Ltd is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. When a law firm uses Clava, the firm is the controller of the documents and personal data it puts into Clava, and Clava is its processor. We process that data only on the firm’s instructions, under a data processing agreement, and only in the UK and EU. Our subprocessors and security overview explain how.

We are the controller of the account details we need to run the service for you: your name, work email, firm, role, sign-in records and support messages. We use them to give you access, keep the service secure and support you, on the basis of our contract with your firm and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Our hosting keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and to keep the site working.

If you email us or ask for a demo, we use your name, email and what you tell us to reply and to discuss Clava with you. We keep enquiries for up to two years unless you become a customer.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be moved. For data a law firm put into Clava, contact the firm first; we will help it respond. Email ben.gordon@clava.uk and we will reply within one month.
