Each card carries the reasoning behind the proposal, not just the proposal itself.

- For and againstThe points that support the position, and the points that cut against it.
- CitationsEach point is tied to the page of the document, or the law, it comes from.
- Approve, Edit or RejectYou make the decision on each card. Nothing goes out without your approval.

An approval card is the point where the lawyer takes over. You read the reason, weigh the points for and against, and check the citations to the source. Then you approve the card, edit it or reject it.
Cards are not sent out by default. Whether the work is a letter, a markup or a note for the file, it only goes out once a lawyer has approved it. Every decision is recorded with who made it and when.
Every correction makes the whole firm better.
When a lawyer edits the work, Clava drafts the lesson as a firm position. Once a partner approves it, every open and future matter applies it, and cites it.
